Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is an actor, businesswoman, inventor and model. Melissa George began her modeling career as a model and actress in Australia, but eventually relocated to Hollywood. George George was born in Perth but was at first fascinated by skating, dance and other artistic activities. The modeling profession began her teens. She took home the Western Australia Teenage Model Year 1992. Following that year, she was on the screen in an episode of the Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away. Dark City marked her screen debut. She has since appeared in various supporting roles for projects including Alias The Limey & Down with Love. Before deciding to take on her first leading part in a mainstream Hollywood production, The Amityville Horror's 2005 remake the actress had previously been in a number of other movies. She is currently one of the most desired Australian ex-pats within the American entertainment industry. Being an entrepreneur George is introducing her own creation Style Snaps into the market.
