Her initial rejection was due to the fact that her character wasn't very strong. Glen later wrote a stronger part with Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend story after she read the first 25 pages. It lasted for a single season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
