Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American screen and stage actress best recognized for her roles in films as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the television series The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actor who is active in theater as well as television and film. She started acting on stage and went onto appear in mainstream, independent and TV series. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. In addition, she get praise from critics for her performance, but she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance in The Tempest as Ariel. She's appeared as a character on Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her roles in the films Men of Honor, the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. The role she played as a character in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
