Drake collaborated with Bad Bunny to create MIA (2018) in addition to Madonna worked with Maluma to create Medellin. Certain reggaeton performers have criticized the shift to popular music by 2020. But a newly formed group called Rauw Alejandro was determined to keep the growth and evolution of reggaeton. He used elements from other styles and electronic music.
